Scientists Unlock Deadly Peanut Allergy
Australian scientists from the Murdoch Institute are confident that they’ve found a solution to the deadly peanut allergy. Taking a new approach to a serious and growing health issue affecting thousands of children may have paved the way for a possible solution to potentially deadly peanut allergies.
Using an approach that steadily introduces a mix of crushed peanuts along with a probiotic, scientists have been astonished with the results.
80% of Affected Children Able to Tolerate Peanuts
In fact, by the end of the study, scientists reported that up to 80% of affected children were able to tolerate peanuts to some degree. Whilst it is very early days, the team from the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute are optimistic about the possibilities for future treatments.
